Frosty Walk

After a very busy morning sorting conkers and leaves we decided to go out into the woods for a lovely frosty walk.

The children ran on the crispy leaves and listened to crack and crumble under their feet. We noted how lots of the trees are looking very bare now. We wondered how the animals and birds who live in the woods look after themselves now it’s much colder, this is something we decided to look in books and on the internet to find out what happens to our wildlife in autumn.
