The rain did not put us off the woods today. We all put on our red suits and wellies then headed out.
In the woods we reminded ourselves of the rules and decided because it was so wet and slippy we shouldn’t climb the trees as we might slip and fall.
As we have been learning about hedgehogs we looked all over the woods to see if we could find a hedgehog nest but had no luck. They must be very good at hiding and we hope they found hiding places that were dry and warm.
The boys and girls particularly enjoyed playing in a big muddy puddle, splashing and getting stuck in the mud then helping one another out. Then they used magic sticks to stir a powerful potion in the puddle, I am glad nobody was turned into a frog and we got all the children back to school safely.
