Primary 1 Learning Tasks 14th May

Good Morning boys and girls. I loved seeing all of your responses to Cleo’s challenge yesterday. She liked them too, then she promptly went back to sleep. (She sleeps a lot!)

Literacy: Phonics	Today we are going to practice our rhyming words again. Can you listen carefully to the words of the nursery rhyme and find the words that rhyme. E.g. In Twinkle Twinkle Little Star the words star and are rhyme and high and sky rhyme.
Literacy: Reading	Log into your Teach my Monster to read account and play for about 20 minutes.
Numeracy	We are still practicing our money and making given amounts. Go to https://www.doorwayonline.org.uk/activities/cashing-in/cashing-in.html and choose up to 10p. Can you make sure that you count out the correct amount.
Health & Wellbeing	Yesterday you looked at what different things need to survive. Can you design a meal for yourself that is healthy. You should try to include some sort of fruit or vegetable in your meal.
